CAD ManagerAn exciting position in a technology company with a focus on contributing to a cleaner environment. VOW is experiencing great growth, and has ambitious plans for the future. We therefore need to strengthen our team, and have now created a new CAD Manager position. You will have the opportunity to work in close dialogue with the head of the department, and lead the development of the position. We are looking for a person who is independent and structured, who is able to implement new systems, and who thrives on good, professional discussions. The position will work across several departments, and the main focus will be further development of the CAD system, as well as administration and coordination of CAD databases. You will get to work with colleagues in different departments and countries, and the opportunity to visit them when appropriate. The departments work in different systems, and it is important that you can facilitate and ensure that these work at all times. In this role you should be proactive, structured, self-driven and have a collaborative personality. 



Key tasks and responsibilities:
  • Development of internal systems and methodology, including the maintenance of these
  • Integration of various CAD platforms into one common data source  
  • Training of new employees and support for existing ones
  • Creation and maintenance of an internal CAD manual
  • Administration of licenses and users within the system


Qualifications and experience:
  • Solid experience with CAD systems
  • Multidisciplinary engineering understanding beneficial
  • Relevant education at Bachelor's level, preferably in electrical, mechanical, process or equivalent
  • Good communication skills
  • Sociable, proactive and a responsible team player
  • Good collaboration skills towards colleagues, customers and collaborating partners
  • Proficient English knowledge both spoken and written
  • Norwegian skills beneficial but not required
