Lead Process Engineer

For client that is experiencing tremendous growth, and therefore we are looking for ambitious Lead Process Engineer who can support some of our most central projects worldwide.

The role involves delivering our unique technologies for marine loading and unloading of LNG, green ammonia, hydrogen and CCS.

You will have responsibility for the process professional domain across our portfolio of projects.

Job Duties

• You will act as the company’s process lead, and you will be an integral part of all the company’s projects, bid and engineering studies
• You will be an integrated part of the project team with a diversity of task scopes, but as a subject matter expert in the LNG process area and as such be a client facing persona
• Develop specifications and opportunities for engineering contracts in relation to the project activities and especially as a subject matter expert in the LNG process area
• Follow up engineering companies and equipment suppliers to secure deliveries in accordance with contracts and our requirements
• Contribute to the technical development within floating transfer systems

Education & Work Experience

• Have completed higher relevant education in Process Engineering, Energy Process and Fluids Engineering, Heat & Energy Processes, or similar
• Can demonstrate experience from similar positions or work area
• Posesses strong knowledge of LNG and natural gas processes (or other liquefied gases)
• Have experience with process simulation tools is an advantage, e.g. Hysys or similar
• Have knowledge of or interest in floating LNG solutions and challenges related to this is an advantage, as well as an interest in the transition to clean energy
• Have knowledge of and preferably experience with the most important stakeholders in the industry such as shipyards, equipment suppliers, engineering companies and classification societies
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Proficiently communicate ideas and concepts
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are important
