Monthly management accounts review and group consolidation
Preparation of monthly group reporting packs
Audit: coordination of external auditors to ensure a clean and timely audit of group companies
Analysis: developing business cost review reports and KPIs to monitor performance and costs
Compliance: support the Financial Controller as required on Insurance, Company Secretarial, tax filings, risk and other requirements
Accounts Payable: proposals for Payment Runs and supporting the external bookkeepers with AP processing queries; ensuring costs are correctly authorised
Treasury management: ensuring we have sufficient currency for short term cash needs
Accounts Receivable: ensuring we raise timely and accurate customer invoices and collect due payments
Forecasting and Budgets: support the CFO and FC as required
On-going process improvement in all areas as we grow
Ad hoc support on projects (eg anticipated system upgrade in 2023)
Requirements
- Newly qualified accountant (UK equivalent of ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) with solid knowledge of Norwegian GAAP
- Norwegian speaker and Norwegian national (or with a Norwegian work permit) – Norwegian social security number is required to access Norwegian banks and systems
- Can-do, problem solving attitude to get the best results for the company
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance staff
- Eager to learn and able to work independently
- Fluent in spoken and written Englishas well as Norwegian
- Strong excel skills
