Head of Tax and Investment Control

Do you want to take part in running the operations function in one of the worlds largest funds? Do you want to manage an operational tax function with exposure to the entire world? Do you want to build and create and efficient support team for the funds real estate and green infrastructure investments? Then we might be looking for you! 

We are looking for a new Head of Tax and Investment Control to to manage and develop an existing team of seven people responsible for ensuring correct tax status and tax payments in the fund and also control the real estate and infrastructure investment the fund makes. We focus on creating an efficient and automated operational process, with low risk. The team collaborates closely with both dedicated developers and our internal asset managers, based around the world.

The position is located in Oslo and reports to Global Head of Fund Administration.

What you will do

As Head of Tax and Investment Control you will:

• Ensure that the fund pays the right amount of tax world wide.
• Operate and improve upon our accounting quality assurance processes for all NBIM's subsidiaries in the real estate space.
• Further develop the seven individuals in the team and also the team as a whole, to get the most from our very talented employees.
• Be part of the team of leaders that sets the operational strategy of the fund and implements it in practice.
• You will work closely with important stakeholders cross regions

What you need

• Bachelor's degree or higher, with a focus on business, economics, finance or IT
• 5 years or more professional background in the financial industry or in similar roles
• An interest in using modern technology to create efficient business processes
• Solid track record of leading people
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
