We are looking for an QHSE Coordinator!

Purpose of the position
To provide information, advice and support on Occupational Health, Safety, Environment, Quality matters within the Region. This position provides support to line management, ensures the maintenance and development of effective and pragmatic management systems to achieve key performance results and effective audit/ training/ competence/ performance monitoring processes. Working with employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve and define practical means of achieving improvement is a key role.


Responsibilities

• Ensure the maintenance of procedures and standards in line with company-wide standards, local operational and legislative requirements and learning from audits, incidents, and other improvement opportunities
• Provide general QHSE support as required
• Preparing monthly performance reports as required and timely manner.
• Monitor current and pending legislation for impact in Norway and support development and delivery of action plans to ensure compliance.
• Support with investigations of QHSE incidents. Ensure investigations. Take immediate and appropriate steps to investigate and rectify any risks to people or the environment arising from the work activity.
• Review alerts and ensure learning from alerts is incorporated into operations and activities.
• Ensuring routine facility tours are conducted with interaction with the workforce. Conduct Client worksite tours as required.
• Ensure internal/external audits are carried out
• Support Supply Chain with monitoring and auditing of local vendors and subcontractors.
• Effectively maintain QHSE reporting data through effective use of company management systems such that company QHSE targets are met or surpassed.
• Maintain local processes and procedures in line with the requirements of Corporate requirements and those of the ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
• Delivery of QHSE training to staff

Qualifications/Competencies

• Audit role for internal and external company processes
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001
• Understanding of the Norwegian rules and regulations relating to the workplace.
• Good communication skills, self-motivated
• Presentational skills used for internal and external delivery
• Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office pack
