We are searching for a new employee to join our Commercial department in a permanent position as a Sales Administrator. This is a newly created position. The employee will contribute to enhance our customer satisfaction and serve as a hub between the the Commercial, Production, and Logistics department.
Main responsibility
- The process from quote to cash for Gentian’s leads and customers
- Maintain the customer information in SAP
- Lead the communication with the customer’s procurement department regarding orders and invoices, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Provide quotes to customers and leads with support from Product Managers
- Validate sales orders
- Ensure that customers receive their orders on time
- Ensure that customer invoices are paid
- Close co-operation and alignment with process stakeholders in marketing, logistics, operations, finance and admin for a smooth overall process
- Contribute to sales and product forecasts
- Sales reporting, contract compliance, analysis and trending
- Assist with customer complaints
- Maintain price lists and pricing process
- Assist in the planning and prioritization of the activities within the assigned tasks.
Qualificataions
Formal Education and experience
- High School graduate, High School with business focus is an asset
- Minimum 5 years of experience handling sales orders and related activities
- Experience with direct customer interaction
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems
Additional skills & competencies
- Quality system experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Norwegian and English.
- Skilled in IT-tools, especially Excel, Word, CRM and ERP systems
- Proactive, structured, with focus on data accuracy
- Customer oriented
- Analytical mindset
