Embryologist - Aleris Fertility Center

Aleris Frogner is Norway's largest private hospital with more than 30 medical fields. We are now looking for an embryologist at our newly established top modern fertility center. You will contribute to develop Norway's best fertility center together with our skilled professionals with extensive experience within this field.

We are looking for a dedicated professional who wants to contribute with an extra effort, who enjoys an exciting and hectic work life and understands the importance of good service and quality.

 Main work tasks will include

• Perform all clinical embryology and andrology duties following appropriate training and competency assessment
• Participate in laboratory maintenance tasks and assist in validation within the laboratory
• Assist in the management and maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Oversee the procurement of laboratory products and services
• Adhere to all standard operating procedures
• Inform patients of treatment options, treatment outcomes and discuss the implications
• Meet laboratory Key Performance Indexes for all critical laboratory tasks
• Assist in the implementation of decisions regarding the embryology area.
• To keep updated at scientific level, be proactive doing clinical research, sending communication to congresses, networking and translating novel approaches to the clinic.

Qualifications

• Years of experience working in private IVF units
• Years of experience in Quality Management for IVF laboratories
• ESHRE certification as Clinical/Senior embryologist
• PhD/Masters in related life science areas
• Publications in per reviewed journals/congresses
