Front End and Green Solutions – Project Manager

Moreld Apply is taking part in the energy transition and are working with a wide range of business areas within the energy sector. In the business unit Front End & Green Solutions, we are looking for a competent and experienced Project Manager to strengthen our team.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Lead, manage and control the execution of studies in Front End and Green Solution in compliance with contractual and internal company requirements. The person should be self-going, have the experience to see business opportunities, and manage project portfolios. Be on the ground in studies of new initiatives within Green and Blue Hydrogen Solutions, CCS, Offshore Wind, Electrification, Lifetime extension and CO2 reduction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in one or several of the elements above.

Develop a positive client relationship, through project performance and close communication. Actively pursue opportunities to work safer and improve quality, reduce risk and maximize results. Propose, and eventually take an active part in implementing, measures, and activities to improve the company to reinforce our market position.

Duties and responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and control all work and activities in projects.
  
• With experience from executing larger studies and projects, be an advisor in the Front End Core Team.
  
• Ensure the development of new technology and sustainable solutions in projects.
  
• Ensure execution is organized and handled according to FEL process and external methods.
  
• Proactively manage the studies to mitigate uncertainty and risk, define opportunities, and to deliver on agreed time and budget.
  
• Interface and communicate well with client to support project targets, also reinforcing company market position.
  
• Report status, incidents, contingencies and risks/opportunities to Client, and company management as required.
  
• Identify and develop opportunities for further business development with Client.
  
• Manage and develop project members into a functionally efficient and coordinated team.
  
• Develop and maintain a good relationship with all stakeholders (Client, Company, partners, subcontractors, and others).
  
  AUTHORITY
  
• Company representative toward client.
  
• Represent the project in internal and external matters.
  
• Execute studies and manage organization according to Company policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge preferably within, Process, Mechanical Electrical or Safety Engineering.
  
• Relevant technical university degree with further financial education.
  
• Long and relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education.
  
• Min. 10 years from relevant project work, including managerial work, from the energy sector.
  
• Min 5 years of experience from studies.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
