Role Overview


Working with the VP, of Hospitality Marketing and serving both internal and external audiences within the payments and software ecosystem the role requires the ability and experience to work with multiple stakeholders from across our business, and throughout the world.


A key member of the Planet regional team, you will work with the regional sales team in the Nordics region to plan, build, implement and manage a lead generating campaigns and processes that deliver quality leads across the hospitality vertical to the sales teams in the Nordics regions including Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.


Aligned to this, and in collaboration with the Corporate Marketing team you will support Planet's market presence and positioning by leading the planning and implementation of marketing programmes including corporate and hosted events, tradeshows and webinars.


You will work closely the Corporate Marketing team to support in-country PR initiatives.


This role requires excellent creative planning skills, an ability to understand our customer's business objectives and develop the specific jobs to be done to deliver high impact results that meet Planet's sales and commercial targets for the region.


While the role will bring pivots, agile-thinking and plenty of variation, it is split across the following key areas:


  • Commercial targets - This is a commercial-minded role and as such your KPIS will reflect this requirement. Yearly targets will be composed of number of leads, conversions and value of same, delivered to the hospitality sales team in Nordics region.
  • Content - High quality content is the engine of our lead generation activities. This role requires you to be an industry expert and to research topics and produce clear and effective marketing copy to promote our products and services.

  • Lead generation & Cross-sell campaigns - working with the sales team, senior stakeholders and supporting agencies to create and implement Planet's hospitality Campaigns which are designed to drive the delivery of quality leads to the hospitality business. This will be a combination of online and offline tactical actions such as but not limited to, ABM, email marketing, collateral production and reporting.

  • Collateral - As the manager of the Marketing function you will be responsible to ensure that all collateral is up to date, translated and fit for purpose. This requires close collaboration with the design team who will produce the content, the product team who (when required) will create the content and support agencies who will help with translation.



  • Events + Webinars - Lead the planning, implementation and reporting on Events that drive new business development, retention, PR and lead generation. These include and are not limited to Webinars, and company and industry events.

  • Special projects: Work with the broader marketing team to develop new value-adding marketing campaigns to support the vertical's key accounts and other value-adding partners or distributors, who deliver commercial impact for Planet . Special projects also include the maintenance of the content of the website in Swedish.

  • Agency Management. Be the primary point of contact with our support agencies in the market.

  • Website support for the region: Support the digital team by coordinating and executing changes to the website in the Nordic countries.

  • Reporting - Analyse pipeline and lead data, deliver periodic reporting to the sales and marketing teams providing key business insights: typical reporting relates to Lead Generation, Pipeline, Conversion Rates (New Business and Cross-sell).



  • Budgets - Be responsible for budget expenditures, allocations, resources and reporting for the Nordics region.

What you will need to bring to Planet


  • Five to seven years Lead Generation experience , working within the software, payments and/or Hospitality sectors, or another fast-paced environment.

  • Previous experience working in B2B required, and both B2C and B2B2C environments desired (but not essential)

  • Comfortable working within multiple sectors, with a strong background in Digital Marketing campaign planning, implementation, and reporting.

  • Passionate marketer, high energy levels, looking to join a growing team that makes a difference to the world of payments

  • Hands on style of working, willing to roll up sleeves and get work done

  • Natural communicator who effortlessly takes complex technology solutions and crafts simple, powerful and compelling audience specific propositions

  • Commercially minded, with a strong focus on KPIs and performances analysis and delivery

  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders often with competing priorities, working with them to align and gain approval for Marketing plans.

  • Driven by delivering commercial results, this role is passionate about supporting the business to grow sales

  • Skilled at aligning tactical outputs with business strategy Be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills

  • Experience of managing and briefing external agencies, monitoring and assessing campaigns, and measuring the ROI of campaigns.

  • Management skills: ability to inspire and guide the Team with clarity

  • Communication skills: excellent and confident verbal and written skills.

  • You will need to be able to work with the broader Marketing team and therefore across time zones. This requires strong organisation skills and reliability.



Skills



  • Swedish language (native)

  • Fluency in spoken and written English.

  • A master of Microsoft Office, Asana and Salesforce CRM including Pardot

  • Degree in Business and/or Marketing management
