The FE&GS business unit in Moreld Apply is specialising in early phase engineering and are driving new business initiatives. Our ambition is to become the key player in the early phase & sustainable technology market.
Moreld Apply specialises in contracts across all project phases within renewables, hydrogen solutions and oil & gas, ranging from feasibility to project completion, commissioning and operation.

Duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for Studies/Projects under the Subsea & Field Development Business Area, and take ownership in the quality of deliverables and transfer of knowledge.
• Work closely with established and new green studies and initiatives within Moreld Apply and across Moreld companies.
  
• Develop and execute the strategy for the Subsea & Field Development business stream together with the Vice President for FE&GS.
  
• Support Clients in early phases (Feasibility and Concept) of subsea tie-back and offshore floating wind developments, subsea operation/integrity & IMR.
  
• Work closely and integrated with Moreld Apply's topside multidiscipline team for combined subsea/topside developments.
  
• Follow up Moreld Apply's Subsea Engineering Subcontractors.
  
• Develop and maintain a good relationship with all stakeholders (Client, Company, Partners, Subcontractors and others).
  
• Participate in business developments, initiatives and proposals.
  
• Participate in design reviews, HAZIDs and risk assessments.
  
• The position reports directly to Moreld Apply Vice President for Front End and Green Solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in engineering (mechanical/marine degree preferred).
• Previous experience with subsea field development and tie-back studies.
  
• Previous experience with SURF engineering.
  
• Familiar working with systems engineering and has a building block mindset.
  
• Demonstrate good knowledge of early phase engineering, cost and schedule.
  
• Experience with interface towards process and flow assurance.
  
• Understanding of key system (technical and commercial) drivers, decision gates and license partner support.
  
• Updated knowledge of relevant guidelines and standards.
  
• Able to manage projects/studies including schedule, budget and QA.
  
• Write and check technical reports and specifications.

• Well known to the subsea industry and field development projects on the NCS.
  
• Well organized technical leader capable of executing projects as well as managing, motivating, and mentoring professional engineers.
  
• Capacity to understand complex problems and work collaboratively to identify practical and technically sound solutions.
  
• Comfortable working in a continuous changing environment - ability to work independently.
  
• Awareness of clients' needs - develop and implement solutions.
  
• Fluent in English and good communicator both written and verbal.
  
• Correctly adheres to the Company Health, Safety, Environment and Quality policies.
