Quality Lead Engineer - Product Quality

Are you passionate about Quality and want to contribute in setting and maintaining high quality standards and ensure clients' demands and expectations are successfully met?

We are looking for an experienced Quality Lead Engineer to join our highly qualified product quality team in Kongsberg. This role work closely with Engineering and interface Supply Chain, Projects and Services with focus on collaborative effort across functional areas.

Main Tasks:

• Main contribution is ensuring highly reliable systems and products, through focus on quality performance in our technical design and processes through RCAs, verifications and continuous improvements.
  
• Lead and execute Quality Improvement projects for non-conformances and/or improvement areas within own product area with focus on prevention
• Facilitate RCAs/Problem Management, initiate and review Alerts within relevant areas
• Participate and contribute to Global Quality forums and initiatives
• Conduct Quality Risk Review on products within own product area and contribute to other relevant areas
• Support defining yearly Process Verification and Customer Satisfaction Plan within relevant product areas and facilitate execution.
• Perform continuous product performance analysis within own product area, driving preventive and corrective actions together with Product Responsible and Product Performance Team

You are meant for this job if:

• Experience from working with Quality processes and systems, improvements and preventions
• Good technical understanding and knowledge, preferable within the oil and gas industry
• Capabilities of understanding technical issues across disciplines and product areas
• Experienced in technical and systematical deviation handling and root cause analysis
• Ability to work independently with a systematic approach
• Analytic mind with the ability of identify systemic issues across products and processes
• Knowledgeable in relevant industry standards like ISO, API and NORSOK
• Be open-minded, speak English proficiently, be adaptable and work in multicultural environment
• Higher education holding preferable a Technical Bachelor degree, or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years' experience in quality related positions
• Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the country, without sponsorship.
