We are looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Software Engineer to take a leading role in building advanced applications for digitalization, processing and 2D/3D visualization of complex, geospatial data.
Argeo is a company with a mission to transform the ocean surveying and inspection industry by utilizing autonomous surface and underwater robotics solutions. We develop tools, methods, and web applications to allow our customers to make data driven decisions based on the data we collect and process.

Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Contribute to the innovation and development of Argeo’s software solutions
- Develop methods for processing & visualization of Ocean Data, including AI based methods
- Design digitalization tools for data from autonomous drones, including surface and underwater vehicles
- Collaborate with data scientists to develop and implement solutions and algorithms for processing and interpretation of geospatial data
- Identify and implement efficient solutions for large data sets
Preferred competence and personal qualities:
- MSc in Software Engineering, alternatively degree in Physics/Mathematics with significant programming experience
- Solid experience working with CI/CD and cloud-based applications
- Azure/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, Python, Rust
- Experience from React/Vue, or other modern frontend development frameworks
- English communication skills, both oral and written
- Service minded and innovative mindset
- Flexible and self-driven
