Freight Forwarder – Air/Sea

We are expanding, and we are looking for a Freight Forwarder - Air/Sea to join our team. 

Job description:

• Planning, execution and follow up of national and international air and sea freight shipments (import/export/cross trades).
• Pricing of single assignments / spot shipments.
• Suggest transport solutions based on customer needs including offer most sustainable offers / options.
• Communication with clients, carriers, airlines, subcontractors and our global network partners.
• Registration of assignments, invoicing, cost control and completion of assignments in CargoWise.
• Customs clearance.
• Strategic, long term follow up of clients, carriers and airlines.
• Participate and support during bid processes.

Qualifications:

• Experience from Air & Sea freight operations.
• MSc/BSc degree within logistics and/ or supply chain management.
• Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education.

Personal skills:

• Result oriented, service minded and willing to go the extra mile for our clients.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Efficient, systematical and have good order.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, Norwegian and English.
• Extensive computer skills (Experience from CargoWise would be an advantage)
