Who are we looking for?

You are triggered by the challenge of developing new solutions from scratch. You have experience and a practical understanding of the challenges in design of reliable solutions for oil & gas downhole conditions.
You are self-driven and can take the lead. It drives you to follow a design all the way to a new product.
You take pride in your design solutions.

Your main Activities & Responsibilities:

Product development - develop concepts and technical solutions for downhole tools
Cooperate with design team managing both electronics-, software- and mechanical integration for development of new products
Modelling, engineering and preparation of 2D drawings
Calculations and analysis
Preparation of product qualification test and assembly procedures, as well as test reports / documentation
Follow-up and participation in prototype / concept testing
Planning and follow-up of progress, including coordination of production, qualification testing, electronics development and assembly.

We would like you to meet most of these Qualifications & Experiences:

Minimum 5 years of experience in product design of down hole tools for oil & gas applications
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering
Proactive with an energetic attitude towards developing reliable design solutions and continual improvements of existing products.
Creative, practical, and organized

Self-driven and ability to take the lead
Experience in mechanical design integration with electric motors and sensor technology is a big advantage

Long and relevant experience can compensate for not meeting formal education criteria

About Target:
Target Intervention is a well intervention technology company providing digital downhole tool solutions for production enhancement and well testing.
Targets head office is located in Norway with a current team of 8 employees. Facility include R&D development, electronics lab and full-scale testing capability. An operational base is established in Saudi Arabia to serve the Middle East market.
Target Intervention is full owned by TAQA, a Saudi-Arabia based service company.
Target currently have two main products, field proven in North Sea and Saudi Arabia. The Target CHALLENGER for selective acid stimulation and the Target DISCOVERY for well testing. Targets products are fully electric operated downhole tools controlled from surface, conveyed on coiled tubing. Digital real-time data on downhole well parameters and tool diagnostics is streamed continuously to surface the Target technology provide a step change in expanding the capabilities, efficiency and reliability of coiled tubing well service operations.
