Reporting line
Workshop Technician reports directly to the Workshop Supervisor.

Role
This role is responsible for packing and maintenance of all logging tools. He/she will also be support and back up for logistics and succession planning for repair and maintenance

Key responsibilities

To ensure compliance, improve and actively promote the compliance of others with of Archer’s QHSE Policies.
Perform maintenance of all logging tools
Pack in accordance with Equipment Request Forms
Records all maintenance and failure events immediately and accurately in IFS
Proficient in the use of logistics asset tracking systems and support this when needed.
Assist to maintain workshop workflow (yellow, red and green area) and perform all necessary testing of tools
Promotes the importance of service quality within the maintenance community.
Ensures the work areas are safe, clean and orderly at all times.
Continuously strives to optimize the safety and efficiency of maintenance procedures.
Assists workshop personnel and Field Engineers with other work when required

Qualifications
Education

Certificate of apprenticeship within Electro/Automation/Logging is required.
Technical College degree within electro, automation or relevant technical degree is preferred.

Experience

Extensive experience working within electrical downhole tools may compensate for lack of higher education.
Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Norwegian.
Excellent skills in Word and Excel.
Used to write technical documentations such as reports, procedures and check lists
