AutoStore is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer

The Machine Learning Engineer will be a value adding stream of the business. Unlocking the potential of the data for internal and external use cases in a secure and scalable manner. The ideal candidate will be familiar with MLOps and how to build such systems, and comfortable in fostering citizen data scientists within the organization.

The role will be within the Data and Cloud within AutoStore IT department. This gives you the opportunity to work closely with a wide variety of disciplines such as Data Engineers, Cloud Architects, Data Analysts and Platform Architects. Also, as AutoStore IT works across departments you will have a chance to be exposed to the entire business such Marketing, Finance, Operations and R&D. Giving you a holistic picture of how Norway's first Unicorn really works.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and Develop the MLOps Platform

• Deploy and operate ML Models reliably and at scale

• Identify and Implement ML/Optimization projects within the organisation

• Educate other teams within the organisation on how utilize Machine Learning

SUGGESTED KEY SKILLS:

• Python (sklearn, lightgbm, pandas, fastapi)

• Software Development (Git, Testing, CICD)

• Docker

• Azure DevOps Pipelines

• Azure (Azure ML Studio, Azure Synapse)

• Google ORTools

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

• Python (synapseml, pytorch)

• Kubernetes

• Graph Neural Networks

• Online/Streaming Machine Learning

• Process Mining

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

• Strong in communication, being able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical audience

• Comfortable and effective working independently
