We have a position available for a senior embedded software developer in Bergen to work as team lead, developing world class measurement instruments.
The focus of this position is leading software development on our embedded systems, typically working on flow measurement instruments for downhole, subsea, or topside applications.

You should be keen to learn new technologies, work in small and larger teams and be able to take on ownership and responsibility for individual parts of product design and implementation.
We expect that you are well versed in the following development aspects:
- Embedded C++ development
- Version control systems and documentation
- Collaborative development of software
Other qualifications that we value:
- Understanding of physics, electronics, mathematics
- Agile work practices
- Linux development experience
- Knowledge of the oil and gas industry
- Experience in implementing communications protocols
- WEB technologies (front/back end, HTTP/HTTP, AJAX, jQuery, Angular+++)
- Scripting languages – especially Python, JavaScript, and Matlab
- Unit testing and automated software test
- Secure coding and security best practices
Educational expectations
University/Engineering degree in Informatics, Cybernetics, or related disciplines.
Relevant experience might compensate for lack of formal education.
