We aim to strengthen our digitalizing team with a full stack Software Developer to drive the development of software systems, data sets, analytics, machine learning and infrastructure to improve our Rapid Plasma Deposition (RPD) technology and further digitalize our business processes. You will be a part of a team working with the latest technologies within digital platforms, software, services, infrastructure, data science, automation, and virtualization.

The position will be key in Norsk Titanium’s Industry 4.0 transformation and you are expected to contribute to technology development in accordance with the company’s digital strategy. The position will work closely with the broader R&D team at Norsk Titanium’s Technology Centre with experts within manufacturing, metallurgy, process control, image processing, optical sensing, mechanical design, and systems engineering.

The role will be key in our digital transformation and innovation. The Software Developer will contribute to and drive the development, testing and deployment of IT and support systems and applications, integrations between core systems and AM machines, data analytics and visualization, virtualization and IoT solutions.

We are preferably looking for someone with 5+ years’ experience, but 2+ years will also be considered. Full stack experience is a benefit but not a requirement.

We are looking for someone:

Preferably with a bachelor's or master’s degree in IT, computer science, data science or similar with a focus on software development
With 2-10 years experience but recent graduates will be considered
Familiar with cloud hosting (Azure)
Capable to understand complex technology and business processes
Who collaborates easily and has a high level of professional integrity
Driven by curiosity with a deep interest in software technologies
Who can adjust and re-evaluate based on changing circumstances
Experience building UI with React
With experience from software development on multiple platforms and languages like Java or .NET
Familiar with key technologies and platforms like Java, Azure DevOps, .NET, JavaScript, Node.JS, React.JS, Docker and SQL
