About us

This position requires no previous experience in bunker trading or any knowledge of trade secrets. As LNS Ocean is based out of Longyearbyen expect occasional visits to the headquarter and a potential opportunity working from Svalbard.

Your job

• Lead assistant to sales and finance.
• Market intelligence monitoring and business opportunity analysis.
• Executing sales and delivery – quoting, negotiating, closing, and post-delivery tasks.
• Preparing sales and budget reports.
• Monitor customer credit lines, payment performance, and assist with collections if necessary
• Analyzing operation and bunker performance of our chartered vessels
• Work effectively with diverse teams to come up with the best solution and move people to act

About you

• Economy and/or maritime bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience from sales and/or shipping.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and Norwegian
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization
