We are hiring an EICT Engineer

Are you analytically strong with great problem-solving skills and a proven track record within EICT in large projects? Then you are exactly the one we are looking for. You will be part of our competent team that provides support to our projects and operations within the discipline.
You have experience in white disciplines, with the main emphasis on control systems and safety automation systems.
We seek to strengthen our EICT profession. Therefore, you will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring that good technical solutions are implemented in new projects and modifications of existing installations.

These are some of the important tasks you will be working on: 

• Define standards for - and review the suitability of safety and environmental critical elements in all phases of field development
• Define and take part in major accidental hazard audits
• You are familiar with relevant rules, regulations and standards within your area of responsibility
• Provide status reports and report on progress continuously
• Participate in meetings with clients and HSE authorities when required
• Participate in audits onboard/onshore in order to ensure implementation of required assurance activities 
• Cooperation with management

To succeed in this position, we believe the following qualities are necessary:

• Detailed technical and operational knowledge within the relevant discipline
• Technical education at the bachelor´s level as a minimum
• Experience within the relevant discipline
• Detailed understanding and knowledge of applicable regulations, standards and approved code of practice in the jurisdictions where we operate
• Technical and operational knowledge of our installations 
• We are looking for a candidate who is structured and a true problem solver with good communication skills
• English - fluent written and oral skills
