We are now looking for a mid-senior Data Scientist that will help us take Axactor to the next level. You will be a part of the growing team of the Business Intelligence Competence Center. Possible location will be in Gothenburg, Drammen, Helsinki or Madrid.

About the role

• Comprehensive management of the entire analytics process, from the development and management of Machine Learning models, to automating ETL, modifying, transforming and exploiting data, to explore and statistic data quality
• Permanent interaction with BI/Operations/Business to define targets, evaluations and new models
• Lead data innovations and offer new insights to the Business based on data together with the team
• During your daily work, you will work with relational DB to treat data, perform Analysis in R/Python, automate data processes and, finally, calculate and interpret evaluations
• You will be involved in the discussions with BI/Operations/Business to achieve the Advanced Analytics’ goals and create a data-driven culture in the company
• You will have the possibility to participate in interesting projects with high business value in multiple countries
• Some travelling is expected

Is this you?

• University degree in modelling / machine learning / statistics / mathematics or equivalent and are familiar with Microsoft Azure
• 2-3 years experience with machine learning, predictive models or analytical evaluation of processes
• Strong business understanding, taste for details and passion for delivering valuable insight and improvements to the business
• Proactive and love to find innovative and creative solutions
• Great collaboration skills, interested in learning, but not afraid of challenging the status quo
• Good communication skills in English, both written and orally. This is our corporate language. In the office we speak local languages

Our tech stack and wanted skill level

• SQL - Advanced level: windowing functions, pivoting, etc.
• R/Python skills for Machine Learning - Advanced
• Unix Shell - Medium level: fluent working with the shell and simple shell scripts processes
• Any of the following are a plus: Hadoop stack (Hive, Spark, etc.), NLP, Deep Learning and Azure Cloud
