As our new Site Service Engineer you will be part of the Lifecycle Services (LSC) department and a member of our global site service pool of engineers. You will be our representative at site and deliver on all aspects of service to clients. NOV will provide technical training to ensure you have the knowledge and all the tools to do your job. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Installation, commissioning and start up of units at sites and workshops both national and international, onshore and offshore
  • Operation of process units, including optimizing processes, test etc.
  • Instruct and train operating personnel at site.
  • Plan, manage and execute service inspections of process units, including troubleshooting, optimizing of operation and tests as well as control of units.
  • Contribute to sales and tenders to clients for Brownfield, spare parts, training & site service work.
  • Participate in building and maintaining customer relationships for assigned region/market
  • Follow defined rules and procedures to ensure services are executed in an efficient way and at a level of quality recognized by our client
  • Carry out a given task in accordance to the set policies, execution models, procedures etc., using agreed common tools and systems
  • Integration and co-operation with the other disciplines in the company
  • Work closely with colleagues in order to reach the common and shared goals for the LCS team
  • Travel globally as and when required
  • Take personal responsibility for HSE / own safety


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

We are looking for somebody who has experience working as a site engineer and knowledge of processing topside equipment onshore and offshore.

  • Technical education within mechanical and/or electro/instrumentation and/or process
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Working knowledge of commissioning and operating process units
