Too many customers are still stuck on old network solutions that don’t provide the flexibility, security, and quality that is required today. Are you ready to be a driving force in that upgrade by building customer-centric solutions based on our SD-WAN and Managed LAN platforms?

What will you do?

As Solution Engineer your mission is to make sure that your customers get the best possible network solution for their needs. Specifically, that means offering technical support to our sales team in the presales phase and working out the detailed solution design of the customer solutions after the deal is done. You will also be in charge of the first installations and of handing over the roll out to our implementation technicians, once the solution design is done and tested. Furthermore, you will be close to the product management and development team to ensure that all solutions are described and documented to ensure easy operation and high stability of the solution afterward.

About the team

You will be part of a passionate group of people, where we pride ourselves on our ability to work together as a team. In this team, you can always trust our colleagues to help out. We come from different backgrounds, experience, nationality, age and gender, and we aim to have fun at work. We work cross-borders as one team, with shared product and platform development teams and local solution teams. You will be part of the Norwegian solution team, and you will work closely with colleagues in Denmark and Sweden.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Offer technical support during the presales phase to help clarify what network solution will best support the customer’s needs.

• After the sales, you will be responsible for working out the detailed solution design with the customer. After you have brought the first couple of locations online and are done testing, you will handover documentation and instructions to the rollout team to finalize any remaining sites.

• Obtain high customer satisfaction during the implementation phase.

• Continuously push to develop the processes and the company to meet customer demands

• Stay on top of new trends and technologies and bring them into your work and our product development.

• Take responsibility for making every day at the office interesting, challenging and fun for you and your colleagues.

Skills and Qualifications

• You have a good understanding of enterprise customers network-related requirements

• You have worked with or studied network solution design, implementation, and troubleshooting SD-WAN products previously. Alternatively, you are skilled in IPVPN /MPLS, Internet, and similar WAN solutions.

• If you have worked with either LAN or network-related security services and have experience with network design and implementation of WiFi networks, LAN networks, and firewalls, that is a plus.

• If you have experience with vendors such as HPE Aruba, Fortinet, that is a plus.

• You enjoy the customer dialogue and the work of discovering their requirements.

• You naturally push towards better solutions and processes to support the best possible customer experience on the products you deliver.
