We are now looking for a Systems Engineer/Technical Lead engineer to work with us in a fast-paced environment, solving complex and interesting problems. Your main tasks will be system architecting in cross functional, development teams throughout the whole product development process from early phase to prototyping, testing and finished solution. You will get the opportunity to define and scope products according to our customers' needs, and follow the development throughout the life cycle until the validation of the product.

As a Systems Engineer or Technical Lead in our projects, you will be a key person throughout the system development, working closely with the development team, the project manager and the customer.

As Semcon has a wide variety of customers, you will get experience within many different industries and systems.

Your main responsibilities will be

• Understand customer and stakeholder needs, and translate these into requirements that can be implemented and verified
• Ensure and facilitate technical cross-discipline: communication, alignment, and decisions.
• Architecting solutions on a high and low level through methods such as functional and physical architectures
• Determining multiple design and implementation alternatives, assessing such alternatives based on all identified constraints (such as cost, schedule, safety, usability, reliability) and selecting the most suitable options for further design.

What about you:

• Education within M.Sc or B.Cs
• Preferably 3-5 year product development experience leading cross-functional product development activities
• You are interested in how new technology can bring value to our customers in a sustainable direction
• Ability to mitigate risk in product development project
• You have analytical skills coupled with a structured and methodical approach
• You are self-driven and teamwork motivates you
• Also preferable if you have experience within:
• Systems modelling tools including SYSML and architectural frameworks
• Object modelling
