Full-stack Development Lecturer

Do you have experience teaching Full-stack development and would like to be a lecturer with us? 

We are looking for a lecturer to join our team to deliver onsite and online courses for Noroff Accelerate.

With us, your tasks will mainly be: 

• Full-time lecturing, in Norwegian and English.
• Variety of roles, primarily being an instructor for one of our classroom or online courses, usually comprising 20-35 candidates. 
• Deliver full-time 12 week bootcamps, 10 week part time accelerated learning courses, or other programs. In addition, we offer short courses which can vary from a few days, one week long to four weeks long depending on client needs. 
• Teach using our developed teaching material  
• Grading of submissions 
• Supervise candidates during their case period 
• Update and contribute to teaching material as the industry evolves  
• Generate new course deliveries including curriculum development and teaching materials  

Qualifications: 

• Fluent in Norwegian and English (You will be expected to teach in both languages) 
• Relevant Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Software Development or similar) 
• Industry Experience as a Software Developer 
• Experience with modern object-orientated languages is a must. Examples include Javascript, Java, C#, C++, Python 
• Relevant skill/experience with the following: RESTful services, JSON, Databases, HTML/CSS, and Git 
• Prior, documentable online teaching experience, including assessment capabilities 
• Ability to work in Norway

Advantageous Skills or Experience: 

• Pedagogic competence / Teaching qualification
• Master's Degree 
• Experience as a developer on large team projects 
• Experience as a web-developer (JavaScript/TypeScript/IoS) 
• Experience in DevOps and CI/CD techniques 
• Experience in Spring Framework, .Net Entity Framework, or other analogous frameworks 
• Any other modern object-orientated programming languages proficiencies are advantageous (Java, C#, C, C++, Python) 
• Relevant skill/experience with Cloud Technologies 
• Relevant certifications for example in AZ-900, AZ-204, CCNA, CISA, CISM, CISSP would be advantageous
• Prior use of an online learning management system, for example, Moodle.
