Senior Developer - Global shipping software company based in Bergen

In addition to the role as Senior developer, you would also have an opportunity to participate in project management, product development, customer relationship, business intelligence and support for our global customers. 

Working in an agile environment using SCRUM you will have the opportunity to experiment with new ideas and technologies and make a difference by directly influencing critical factors in both software -design and -development. 

We expect you to be an advocate for writing clean, secure and efficient code and tests. And that you are not afraid to recommend and execute improvements on both the code base and the development processes. We want all developers to take ownership and responsibility for the implementation.

 Qualifications:

• Proficiency in REST APIs and JavaScript
• Good understanding of React or similar libraries and frameworks and Material-UI.
• Proficiency in Git.
• Knowledge of databases, SQL and Java. 
• Knowledge of Scrum and agile methodologies.
• Ability to work independently, but also to speak out in a team.
• Excellent command of English, both written and oral. 
• Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Experience and skill can compensate for formal relevant education.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with systems development
• Be open-minded, optimistic, curious, creative, and reliable.
