Our Frontend Team impacts timeanddate's user experience. As a frontend developer with us, you are part of shaping how people will interact with timeanddate in the future. We collaborate across teams, so you must be independent, self-driven, and a team player. You can put your heart and passion into a project and see it through to the end. We want to make loads of unique and exciting tools, and for that, we need your ideas and creativity.

What you will do:

In 2022, we would like you to help with:

Developing exciting new products, interfaces, and visual tools.
Improving, modernizing, and streamlining existing products.
Collaborating with - and inspiring - team members and project colleagues.
Mentoring and sharing your knowledge and experience with your co-workers.
Reviewing code and providing feedback on the work of team members.
Contributing to developing our pattern libraries, code standards, and style guides.
Making our services even more UX-friendly.
Continuously improving our Development environment to make writing code as fun as our services are.

Who we are looking for:

3++ years of experience in a similar role (or be able to demonstrate your high-level skills).
Be able to write clean, high-quality Javascript.
Have good knowledge of advanced CSS.
Can write clean, semantic, standards-compliant, and accessible HTML.
You're able to communicate your work clearly and effectively in English.
You can act on feedback from others and provide helpful feedback.
You're not afraid to suggest improvements or raise concerns.

It would be very beneficial if you are familiar with

Build tools such as webpack, Vite, Babel, etc.
Common Frameworks and libraries, such as Vue, D3, Leaflet, and three.js (or similar).
PHP, Git, and Shell.
Implementing and testing accessible user interfaces.
Writing testable code and maintaining tests.
