Environmental and Sustainability Specialist
On behalf of our client we are looking for an EIA Specialist who will be a part of the Technology and Engineering organization. The position is located at Fornebu.

We are looking for candidates who possess most of the following skills, interests, and experiences:
• University degree in a relevant environmental discipline, engineering, science or similar
• 7+ years of experience with EIA planning, coordination and delivery, ideally from offshore wind development projects
• Thorough understanding of the relevant environmental regulations and standards in different markets: Norway, Sweden, UK, South-Korea, Japan, US.
• Contractual and commercial mindset
   • Experience with sustainability related work is a plus.
   • Experience with social impact assessments is a plus
   • Experience with IFC PS standards or other relevant international standards is a plus
   • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate complex environmental topics to a variety of stakeholders in both English and a Scandinavian language.

Note that other relevant experience may compensate for less experience within some of the areas listed above.

The role will comprise of tasks like:
   • perform initial environmental impact assessments/early site assessments
   • support early site assessment with data source location
   • plan and set up survey plans for projects (offshore, cable route and onshore)
   • scope and collect proposals for consulting work including surveys
   • support project risk assessments (environmental and climate)
   • support sustainability related initiatives related to different projects
   • manage third party consultancies/specialists
   • provide high quality consenting advice for our project developments
   • coordinate layout impacts with technical teams
