To our new Test Center in Mo i Rana

FREYR Battery is on a mission to deliver the world`s most cost effective, efficient and environmentally friendly batteries to accelerate the decarbonization of all transportation and energy systems.

We are looking for people who want to help run the first battery cell factories in Norway. We plan to build 43GWh capacity over the next 4 years and take the global no.1 positions in both cost and CO2 footprint. The first factory should produce our first battery cells in 2022.

We are now constructing a Test Center in Mo i Rana connected to the Customer Qualification Plant (CQP) in Mo i Rana, and in that connection we are looking for a
Test Engineer with experience from battery technology.

Your main tasks include:

• Preparing cells for testing
• Programming of test equipment (cyclers)
• Analysing data, reporting back to stakeholder
• Contribute to develop testcenter scope and functionallity for optimized operation
• Participating in development and testing of new materials and products

You have:

• Preferably a degree in battery technology, but relevant experience from working in a battery environment might compensate the lack of education
• Solid skills in programming in various languages (mathlab, python etc)
• Documented experience in battery testing and battery cell technology
• You are an efficient communicator and can get to the core of complex challenges. You have worked in a high paced organization with an industrial focus, and you loved it!
