Job description
We are looking for an ambitious business development manager, who can help promote and sell digital expertise through the sale of courses and consulting services in ICT.
You will work for both Simula Learning (SL) and Simula Consulting (SC) with the main task of identifying new business opportunities for the companies, making contact with potential customers to sell courses in digital competence or consulting services. We are looking for a structured person who can work according to plan and purpose, with good opportunities to manage their own everyday life with a view to planning and carrying out agreed activities.
Working languages: both English and Norwegian.
This is a one-year temporary position, and is located at Simula’s headquarters in downtown Oslo (Kristian August gate 23).
Your tasks will be
- Research and identify new business opportunities, incl. new markets, customers, partnerships, or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Responsibility for the development of the customer portfolio and generation of new leads.
- Total responsibility for sales of courses in SL and consulting services in SC: calling, emailing and consulting with new and existing customers to ascertain their potential requirements for our products and services.
- Nurturing and developing relationship with key customers
- Develop sales messages and sales projects in collaboration with other employees to raise the profile of the business in target markets
- Understand the needs of the customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
- Preparation of the sales and marketing plan together with the management
- Train team members in improving their sales skills
