Front End / Full Stack Developer

To strengthen our standard software development group we are looking for an ambitious and skilled candidate as Front End developer or Full Stack developer with strong front end skills. Your work location is flexible and can be either from our Trondheim or Oslo office.

As a member of the Standard Software group, you will be part of the team that develops Q-Free’s back office software products for our Tolling and Smart City solutions. We build our systems on a modern tech stack with both Q-Free and Third-Party products. High performance and high availability are key elements in Q-Free’s solutions.

In the Standard Software Group we make the software that handles the data flow, configuration and monitoring of our systems with high useability for the end customer in mind. As Front End Developer you will be responsible for the design and implementation of our web portals. The portals offer user management, data monitoring, reporting and system configuration functionality. For design and implementation, a design system is used. When you are interested in also working in the back-end system the function of front end developer can be combined with back end development.

You will work closely with the team memebers in Trondheim, Oslo and Portugal.

Our solutions are delivered all over the world, you will have the opportunity to work closely with highly skilled colleagues located both locally and internationally in many of Q-Free’s worldwide locations.

Key responsibilities:

• Design of front end software
• Implementation of front end software
• Improving and maintaining the design system

Your key qualifications and experience:

• Education or proven track record in front end design and implementation
• Education or proven track record in software engineering
• Experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of ReactJS
• Knowledge of Redux/React Context API/Hooks
• Knowledge of front-end technologies
  • HTML/CSS
  • Tailwind
• Experience working with API service-based architectures and RESTful APIs

Nice to have experience:

• Experience with Git
• Experience with building, deploying, and operating technical components of sizable complexity.
• Experience investigating data bugs throughout the stack
• Experience with containerized technology, preferably Docker
• Experience with container orchestration tools
• Experience with GraphQL
• When interested in also doing back end development C# .Net core programming experience is a must
