Structural Design Engineer

In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for a new team member with experience in design/construction, that can challenge and find good solutions to help us succeed in our projects. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, eager to learn, and you like to be challenged through exciting projects.

General Tasks:

• Perform structural analyses according to rules and standards
• Establish structure design according to best practice, method, contract and budget
• Establish procedures and reports related to necessary tests and analyses
• Perform checks on documents and drawings
• Participate in sales work with control of contract requirements, design proposals and early-stage weight analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering or Construction (Graduates are encouraged to apply!)
• Experience with linear and nonlinear FEA (ANSYS or StaadPro)
• Experience with Inventor and AutoCAD for 3D and/or 2D detail drawings
• Proactive, structured and teachable
• Interest in engineering, material knowledge, welding and new technology
• Team player proactively seeking information to solve challenges
• Good Norwegian and English skills
