Sales Engineer

Do you want to play an important role in what jobs Marine Aluminium will take on? As a sales engineer, you are an important contributor to the entire company in order for us to deliver good results. You will be part of the Engineering team and work closely with Sales, Project and Supply Chain. You will be given tasks with interdisciplinary relevance and work with exciting products towards an international market. 

General tasks:

• Evaluate customer requests, draw up plans for and ensure the preparation of quotation work
• Ensure that necessary and relevant information is obtained from different departments
• Develop calculations and product/technical descriptions in connection with offers
• Be responsible for product descriptions and relevant documentation in connection with offers
• Assist Sales department with product and sales information
• Maintain and prepare templates and checklists in connection with quotation work
• Ensure that established procedures are followed and implementation is approved

Qualifications & personal skills:

• Technical and/or Economic education (relevant experience may compensate for lack of education)
• Knowledge of relevant standards (Norsok, ISO)
• Background as a project engineer within the same industry is an advantage
• Good financial and commercial understanding
• Good Norwegian and English skills
•  Good ability to acquire new IT systems (Sales and purchasing systems)
