Advanced technology for sustainable oceans

An exciting opportunity has arisen as Process Development Engineer in our central Industrialization department. In this role, you will be part of the multidisciplinary team developing manufacturing solutions, processes and test systems for our Manufacturing departments within Sensors and Robotics. In this position you will be working with process development from prototyping to full scale manufacturing.

Key accountabilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes and materials with focus on process stability, flow-efficiency and process control
• Main manufacturing processes: polymer molding, surface metallization, electrical contacting, cleaning, surface treatment, adhesive bonding, machining, electro-mechanical assembly
• Work together with product designers in product development projects, with focus on Design for Manufacturing
• Process documentation
• Support manufacturing departments (internal and external)

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor or masters degree within material science, chemistry, micro/nano technology, manufacturing technology or equivalent. Both newly graduated and experienced may apply
• Knowledge or experience within one or more of the main manufacturing processes
• Knowledge or experience within product development and manufacturing
