The Glamox Global Marine & Offshore (GMO) division is a leading supplier to the world’s marine and offshore markets. We believe that one of the realest sustainability topics is making our equipment last for many years and creating durable lighting solutions. At our location in Ålesund, we have modern test equipment and facilities for manufacturing mechanical and electrical prototypes. We develop embedded software, electrical circuits, LED MCPCBs, LED drivers, and other control electronics – all for the purpose of making high-quality lighting solutions for our customers. 

Main tasks:

• Designing and developing electronics, software and automation solutions
• Responsibility for developing projects within your discipline, from idea to product
• Supporting the organisation with technical competence within your discipline
• Continuously improving relevant technology

Qualifications:

• Relevant education (preferable bachelor/ master’s degree)
• Relevant experience (within electronics, software and/or automation development)
• Positive, persistence and a flexible attitude 
• A sense of responsibility and progressive thinking
• A team player with good teamwork skills
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
