The Fishery & Research (FAR) division focuses on deck handling and deck machinery for the fishery segment related to trawlers, purse seiners, service boats for fish farmers and live fish carriers in addition to the Oceanographic, Polar and Fishery research vessels.

Vi ser etter en dyktig Account Manager, som vil være ansvarlig for å planlegge, utvikle, lede, gjennomføre og overvåke salgsaktiviteter innenfor et spesifisert geografi eller markedssegment for å nå etablerte salgsmål. Account Manager er ansvarlig for å markedsføre og selge vårt F&R-utstyr (tidligere Triplex og Rapp) produkter og tjenester, inkludert reservedeler.

Vår ideelle kandidat er en utdannet og erfaren ingeniør, med lidenskap for salg, som er i stand til å finne de beste tekniske løsningene for MacGregors FAR-kunder. Du er gjerne lokalisert i distriktet Averøy alternativt Bodø.


Arbeidsoppgaver

  • Salgsansvarlig for MacGregor med fokus på F&R-utstyret (Triplex og Rapp-merkene), service og oppussing innenfor ettermonterings- og service segmentet
  • Aktiv bidragsyter i anbudsprosessen og respons til kunde
  • Sørge for at produkter og tjenester markedsføres, posisjoneres og blir forstått av sentrale beslutningstakere i klient organisasjoner
  • Formelt forslag til løsninger til kunder (tekniske spesifikasjoner, dimensjons skisser, presentasjoner)
  • Utvikle tett samarbeid mellom egne team medlemmer, anbudsteam og innkjøpsavdeling
  • Være en MacGregor-ambassadør og utvikle nære relasjoner med både eksisterende og potensielle kunder, og være en aktiv bidragsyter som bringer MacGregor til bordet


Kvalifikasjoner

  • Bachelorgrad i ingeniørfag, elektronikk eller marine
  • Omfattende relevant erfaring kan kompensere for manglende formell utdanning
  • Minimum 3-5 år innen Marine, shipping eller offshore
  • Erfaring med vellykket salg i respektive region/land
  • Tidligere erfaring med SAP og SalesForce er en fordel
  • Arbeide selvstendig og målrettet
  • Behersker norsk og engelsk flytende, både skriftlig og muntlig

Are you an experienced Engineer with sales experience?

We are looking for a talented Account Manager, who will be responsible for planning, developing, directing, executing and monitoring sales activities within a specified geography or market segment to achieve established sales targets. The Account Manager is in charge of promoting and selling our F&R equipment (former Triplex and Rapp brands) products and services, including spare parts.

Our ideal candidate is an educated and experienced engineer, with passion for sales, who is able to find the best technical solutions for MacGregor's FAR customers. Preferable your location is Averøy alternatively Bodø.


Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Sales responsible for MacGregor with focus on the F&R equipment (Triplex and Rapp brands), service and refurbishment within the retrofit and service segment
  • Active contributor in the tender process and response to customer
  • Ensure products and services are marketed, positioned and understood by key decision makers within clients organizations
  • Formal proposal of solutions to customers (technical specifications, dim sketches, presentations)
  • Develop close working relationship within own team members, tender team and sourcing department
  • Be a MacGregor ambassador and develop close relationship with both existing and potential customers, and be an active contributor bringing MacGregor to the table


What you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics or marine
  • Extensive relevant experience may compensate for missing formal education
  • Minimum 3-5 years in Marine, shipping or offshore
  • Experience in successful Sales in the respective region/country
  • Previous experience with SAP and SalesForce is beneficial
  • Work Independently and target oriented
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and verbal
