Field System Engineer
Location: Arendal, with 75% travelling required

Eaton’s hazardous area communications solutions, part of Crouse-Hinds Series, is an established portfolio of products designed especially for potentially explosive and severe atmospheres.
As Field System Engineer you will conduct field work such as: commissioning, system configuration, upgrade, service, repair and installation supervision at customer sites.
You will be responsible for configure complex systems and resolves problems which are often varied and non-routine and require clarification. You will use previous experience, analysis, and investigation to identify solutions.
Your main responsibilities:
- Conduct field work such as: commissioning, system configuration, upgrade, service, repair and installation supervision at customer sites
- Configure, design, troubleshoot & fault-finding of advanced IP Network
- Provide remote support to customers via online tools
- Work with all levels of customers with varying degrees of technical expertise
- Conduct system maintenance course to our clients and training for agents and team employees
- Provide solutions and active participate in aftermarket
- Provide recommendations regarding CCTV solutions to Product Line Manager, based on feedback from agents and customers views
- Report non-conformance
- Develop methods and best practices for delivering outstanding service
- Establish and maintain current and potential client relationships
Qualifications
Your essential skills we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree (Three-year degree preferred, but may be substituted by Technical Experience)
- Minimum 5 years' related work experience
- Advanced IP Network knowledge for design, configuration, and fault-finding
- Experience with international customer service and worldwide travel is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skill, good teamwork spirit, self-motivate, self-motivate and flexible
- Fluent written and spoken English language
- Ability and willingness to travel
