Are you passionate about creating good profitability through strategic procurement?
We are experiencing a positive development in the market, and looking for a person with the ability to build strong relationships, take initiative and be proactive in close collaboration with all internal resources. You`re independent, have a good structure and can manage procurement projects in a cost-effective way.
General tasks
- Prepare requests and evaluation of bids
- Participate in the negotiation of contracts with preferred supplier
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders, Amendments and Variation Orders
- Manage demand and delivery against purchase to ensure on time delivery and availability.
- Process claims and disputes of commercial character
- Keep track of all project needs
- Participate in internal project meetings and meetings with suppliers
- Organizing shipments, monitor supply chain operations and logistics tasks
Qualifications
- Technical and / or economic education (relevant experience may compensate for formal education)
- Experience in contract negotiations
- Technical insight and understanding
- Good English and Norwegian language skills, written and oral
- Structured with the ability to prioritize in a hectic work environment
- Good IT skills and ERP experience
