We are experiencing a positive development in the market, and looking for a person with the ability to build strong relationships, take initiative and be proactive in close collaboration with all internal resources. You`re independent, have a good structure and can manage procurement projects in a cost-effective way. 

General tasks

• Prepare requests and evaluation of bids
• Participate in the negotiation of contracts with preferred supplier
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders, Amendments and Variation Orders
• Manage demand and delivery against purchase to ensure on time delivery and availability.
• Process claims and disputes of commercial character
• Keep track of all project needs
• Participate in internal project meetings and meetings with suppliers
• Organizing shipments, monitor supply chain operations and logistics tasks

Qualifications

• Technical and / or economic education (relevant experience may compensate for formal education)
• Experience in contract negotiations
• Technical insight and understanding
• Good English and Norwegian language skills, written and oral
• Structured with the ability to prioritize in a hectic work environment
• Good IT skills and ERP experience
