CYBR is looking for a talented Senior Backend Developer

CYBR is on a mission to help companies to protect against cyber security attacks. While most cyber security focus is on technical threats, the vast majority of threats come from social engineering attacks. Employees click on dangerous links, share passwords, and expose credentials, allowing hackers to gain access to a company’s vital assets. CYBR is developing a platform to enable companies to protect against that risk. 

We need talented engineers to join the team in order to make that vision into a reality. We are currently looking for a backend developer to join the team in Oslo. In this role, you will be developing backend applications to deliver on the core functionality of the CYBR platform. The technologies you will work with include Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, PubSub, and Kubernetes. All of our tech is running on Google Cloud Platform. 

As a guide, we are looking for someone with:

• Programming experience, preferable in Go, Rust, C, C++, or similar
• Experience working with databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• An understanding of microservices 
• Experience developing REST APIs
• 5+ years experience

In addition, experience with any of the following would be seen as a bonus:

• Data analysis skills (SQL, Pandas, etc.)
• PubSub
• Google Cloud Platform
• High throughput distributed systems
• Monitoring and tracing (ideally Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger)
