Our Renewables Department in Fornebu, Norway is now looking for a Business Manager.

What will you be doing?

You will ensure that all business tasks in the project are performed in compliance with the contract and required / applicable procedures. You will be responsible to monitor the overall financial health of projects, including all aspects of management reporting, business controlling, financial analysis, short-term and long-term financial planning, business and major project reviews and analysis. Additionally, you are responsible for ensuring implementation of relevant procedures and best practices as per corporate and company policies.

Tasks include:

• Providing financial analysis and business support on financial health of various projects and report the same to leadership team
• Driving quality improvement and risk management initiatives
• Ensuring all departmental activities are in compliance to our HSE framework
• Securing the establishment of a project control methodology which tie together tools, systems and project commitments, both internally and externally
• Coordinating with the Subcontracting and Procurement disciplines to ensure all commercial and contractual aspects, relevant parts of T&C’s, project controls, change control, and invoicing requirements are implemented in subcontracts and POS
• Performing reporting and forecasting both internally and externally
• Establishing and implementing a commercial strategy for the project

We think you should have:

• A master's degree in a relevant field of study is preferable. Relevant experience may compensate lack of formal education
• 5-10 years of relevant operational experience within Business Management / Project Control
• Strong analytical skills, work ethic and a proactive attitude
• Problem solver with a commercial sense and contractual business acumen
• The ability to see solutions together with meeting customer expectations and requirements
• The competency to be accurate and organized yet flexible as required
