DevOps Engineer

Elliptic Labs is a software company that develops world leading ultrasound machine learning algorithms for touchless gestures, proximity, and presence sensing.The algorithms are designed to run on small low-power embedded systems and used to deliver innovative user experiences on smartphones, laptops and IoT-devices. Today, software from Elliptic is deployed in hundreds of millions of devices all over the world.

We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to build our infrastructure, both on-premise and on Azure. You’ll get the opportunity to work with stuff like Azure Devops, setting up both physical and virtual servers, internal websites using Azure App Service, automation using Python/Powershell/Bash, authentication using Azure AD, optimal data storage using Azure Storage and much more.

WHAT WILL YOU BE WORKING WITH?

•  Ensure we optimize our HW usage, trade-offs between GPU and CPU for ML for example
•  Optimize existing and create new pipelines (defined in code, YAML)
•  Automate our release process using Azure Release Management
•  Manage virtual machines, both on premise and in the cloud

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We do not have any hard requirements but we are looking for candidates with some of the interests and qualifications listed below:

•  BSc / MSc degree in Computer Science (or equivalent). Strong applicants without formal qualifications will still be considered
•  Strong analytical and problem solving skills
•  Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
•  Programming/Scripting experience (e.g. Python, Bash, Powershell)  
•  Experience with development tools and toolchains (e.g. Docker, YAML)
•  Experience with automated build and deployment systems (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
•  Good oral and written communication skills
