EIDEL was founded by Erik Olson in 1966. Erik had an innovative spirit. Always sought new ways to solve problems and challenges in his lifetime.

This is an important part of EIDELs core and culture. Today EIDEL consists of 44 employees and we are growing rapidly. As an FPGA-Developer at EIDEL, your focus will be to increase EIDEL`s capacity.

WHY DO WE NEED SOMEONE?

Further development and design of new telemetry, aerospace, security and communication solutions within hardware.

Contribute to complex and demanding projects within these fields on an international level. Today, EIDEL has the expertise, but require more capacity.

WHAT IS THE OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY IN THE POSITION?

There are 2 main goals for this position:

  1. EIDEL needs to expand its capacity in order to handle several development projects simultaneously. 
  2. Further develop and expand in-house knowledge and competence with regards to FPGA-development.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone with more than 3-5 years of experience.

You have a MSc or BSc with relevant experience in FPGA design and VHDL development and -verification. VHDL development and verification is mandatory as experience.

A keen interest in Space, Defense, Security or Data Acquisition is a plus.

You are able to work interdisciplinary, to see your work in context of the system as a whole, collaborate with your colleagues, but also able to work independently. 

You are professionally up to date, curious and enterprising. You identify with EIDELs core values.

You can speak, read and write English fluently and have experience and knowledge in some of these technologies:

  • Digital circuit design: VHDL, Quartus, Vivado, Libero Digital circuit verification: UVVM, VUnit Digital Signal Processing: FIR, IIR, Communication protocols: IPv4, Ethernet, SSP Interfaces: Avalon, AXI FPGA-based processors: ARM, Leon, SoC FPGA

SECURITY CLEARANCE

Candidates must be able to achieve Norwegian security clearance.

Today EIDEL have employees from Norway, France, USA, and the Netherlands.
