In order so serve a growing set of customers Cegal SYSCO is looking to expand its Norwegian presence in the Mjøs region with the establishment of a new office at Hamar. The office will be a leading force in Cegal Sysco low/no-code development strategy and an application Management hub. Sysco is a vendor technology agnostic technology partner, but we are looking to kick start the low-code initiative with Oracle and Microsoft technologies before expanding to other low-code platforms. Hence, we are looking for you who thrive for technology, development, and innovation.

About the role
As our Data Warehouse developer, you will:

• Work closely with our customers to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities
• Be the customer's trusted advisor in the work with requirements specification, development and in ensuring the best possible utilization of the solution
• Collaborate with your colleagues or other consultants so that together we can find the best solution for the customer
• Work with data warehouse development from the leading technology providers Microsoft and Oracle. Most of our assignments take place on a Cloud platform
• Together with us, contribute to shaping and building a leading environment in Norway within Data Warehousing and reporting

Who you are?

• You have a higher education within engineering, computer science or economics (experience can compensate for the lack of formal education)
• You have a minimum of 3+ years of experience working within data warehouse development, know the data warehouse methodology, data quality principles and the different layers in a data warehouse
• You have experience with one or more ETL / ELT tools and have very good knowledge of SQL as a query language
• You have good knowledge of regulations related to GDPR and how we ensure that this is taken into account in the development of solutions.
• You find it exciting to work with and around technologies from Microsoft and Oracle.
• You are active in your field and always up to date on the latest trends and technologies
• You have good communication skills and can identify yourself with being a fuzz-fighter - communicating in a simple and effective way so that complex concepts are also understood by a non-technical audience
• You have excellent collaboration skills and are highly motivated to work in teams where you get energy from sharing your knowledge with others
• You are fluent in both Norwegian and English
