Hardware Project Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen as Project Engineer. In this role, you will be a part of the Oil & Gas (O&G) is a Business Unit within the Solutions Division in Kongsberg Maritime AS. O&G delivers large scale Safety and Automation Systems (SAS) to Oil and Gas projects, offshore topside/subsea production and installations worldwide.

You will serve new and existing tasks on oil installations.

We have highly qualified co-workers, willing to share their knowledge and experience with you. We are now looking for a Project Engineer who is positive, robust, tolerant and like to cooperate with others. You are comfortable with working in a hectic and international environment

Travelling onshore and offshore is an opportunity in this role.

Key accountabilities

• Collaborative work in integrated teams with Engineering project partners & Customers
• Participations in various kinds of projects, from large new build projects to minor modifications and maintenance projects on producing installations offshore
• Engineering and production of Hardware to Safety and Automation Systems (SAS)
• Prepare test procedures and various project documentation
• Testing and verification
• Implementation of new configuration onshore/offshore and commissioning,
• Participation in project meetings with customer

Qualifications and experience

• Higher technical education (B.Sc) / technical institute within electro or automation. We encourage newly graduates to apply.
• Certificate of apprenticeship by electrical or automation trades is preferred
• Practical, hands-on approach to complex tasks
• Fluent spoken/written Norwegian and English communication
