Project Manager

Clara Venture Labs is an innovative research and development lab located in Bergen with more than 60 employees and 30+ years of experience in the development and testing of different energy systems and hardware for Space and Ocean space. Clara is Aker ASAs main vehicle for creating breakthrough industrial technology from ideas to ventures within the fields of the defined Clara innovation themes:

• Advanced materials
• Biochemistry
• Circular economy
• Clean energy systems
• New space
• Resource scarcity

Our successful ideation process generates new breakthrough ideas every day, and we need more capacity to develop the ideas and process them in our innovation funnel. Hence, we are seeking Project Managers that will be involved in validating the greatness of good ideas and implementing successful projects, aiming at developing existing or new green ventures.

Duties and responsibilities

• Manage innovative processes from the exploration phase of new ideas and idea-verification (new projects) and establishment of new ventures
• Coordinate commercial activities and collect feedback from pilot customers
• Plan, coordinate and report on all phases related to product development projects
• Develop and maintain budgets, schedules, and resource plans
• Identify and manage project risks
• Ensure projects / programs are delivered according to schedule and budgets
• Have clear, professional communication with project team, project partners and stakeholders
• Contribute to system design and technical development
• General communication of project and company

Qualifications

• Experience from working as project manager in product development projects, R&D in industrial companies or multidisciplined projects
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical discipline (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control)
• Experience from using project models like Prince2 Agile or PMI/PMBOK or other recognized project management models
• Good communication skills
• Good written and oral English
