Flyr is looking for a new Purchasing Officer

Flyr is looking for a skilled and experienced purchasing officer to join our dedicated and professional team in Oslo, Norway - to contribute with your knowledge and ideas and develop yourself in all round procurement professional, simultaneously improving your technical skills.

Flyr is the new airline in Norway, created for travelers in Norway and built with a size, organization, and route offering that is adapted to everyday life after the coronavirus pandemic. Everyone who works at Flyr is directly employed by the company, with Norwegian pay and working conditions. We now have more than 300 employees, many of whom have extensive experience from companies such as SAS, Norwegian, Widerøe, and Braathen.

Candidate will be responsible for the following areas:

• Sourcing aviation parts and components
• Executing signed agreement for parts provisioning
• Transport logistics arrangement
• Repair Management
• Stock level adjustments
• Tools management
• Warranty claims execution
• Cooperation with aircraft maintenance provider
• Cooperation with accounting

Candidate profile

• Purchasing and logistic experience in aviation industry preferably with technical background
• Fluency in English
• Readiness to travel all over Norway and abroad
• High analytical and interpersonal skills
• Good Microsoft Excel skills will be an advantage
• Market research expertise
• Open for participating in revolving on-call duty, after regular office hours
