Engineer Hydraulic & Mechanical

We are experiencing a positive development in the market, and looking for a new team member. Joining our engineering team, you will work with development of hydraulic and mechanical solutions for our products along with Electrical, Automation and structural departments of the entire project, from sales, development, construction to delivery / installation.

General tasks:

• Monitoring of hydraulic and mechanical in our projects
• Development of hydraulic and mechanical solutions for our products along with all disciplines of the entire project, from sales, development, construction to delivery / installation
• Follow up and monitoring of subcontractors
• Participate in start up of systems and commissioning
• Troubleshooting and assistance for our service engineers
• Assist the sales department with preparation of offers on new projects
• Translate user requirements to a functional design and technical concept
• Coordinate commissioning of new installations (FAT, SAT) together with project department. 
• Update hydraulic and mechanical documentation (functional descriptions, manuals etc.)
• Support production supervision and maintenance department in the area of problem analysis and optimization

Qualifications & personal skills:

• Bachelor or Master degree in hydraulic/mechanical engineering
• Good knowledge of rules/regulations, standards and technical requirements
• Interest in new technology and challenges
• Positive, good spirit and good skills to work individually and in project team
• Strong interpersonal, communication and language skills (minimum Norwegian and English)

The position reports to Head of Engineering & Operations
