We currently have a vacancy available in bbhugme for the role as Sourcing and Supply Chain Manager. Areas of responsibility:

As a Sourcing and Supply Chain Manager you will be a part of our global team, located in Oslo. bbhugme is a Norwegian company which has built its brand on delivering premium products that are loved by our customers and the Sourcing and Supply Chain Manager is key to ensuring we can continue to deliver high quality products while managing rapid growth. The role has strong connections to and cooperation with many areas of the organization, including logistics, sales, brand and product development and CSR.

You will have the overall responsibility for managing relationships with our existing suppliers across multiple international locations; including communication, follow-up and production planning. You will also be responsible for identifying and qualifying new suppliers, as well as negotiating contracts and agreements.

To ensure our products meet high quality standards, you will also be responsible for operational procurement, including monitoring of suppliers, close follow-up of inspections and quality surveillance of suppliers throughout all manufacturing stages. You will also ensure that testing is done in accordance with regulatory requirements and relevant voluntary quality standards/certificates.

The responsibilities also include optimizing inventory volume at the different warehouse locations through the development of solid purchasing and production forecasts.

This role also requires that you actively take part in the product development process and participate in driving the sustainability agenda for both products and packaging.

Who are you?

We think you have a Bachelor’s degree in Sourcing, Supply Chain, Procurement or another relevant area. You also have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role in an international setting. You have solid understanding of textile engineering, QAQC and production as well as an in-depth knowledge of B2C, B2B and the global consumer goods industry. In addition, you have experience in contract negotiations and follow-up.

You have a collaborative mindset, strong communication skills (written + oral) in Norwegian and English and a desire to build strong relationships with a network of global partners. We also think you are highly analytical, proactive and structured and have experience with project management.
