SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST

About the role
As our Senior Data Scientist, you will:

• Work closely with our customers in all phases to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities
• Be the customer's trusted advisor and work with the development of solutions that create customer value
• Collaborate with your colleagues or other consultants so that together we can find the best solution for the customer
• Together with us, you will contribute to shaping and building a leading environment in Norway within Big Data and Analytics
• Assist with writing offers to customers and join meetings to present our business case. Maybe you also like to be on a stage where you convey our team’s contribution and what we can achieve?
  

Who you are?

• You have a higher education in mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science or similar (experience can compensate for the lack of formal education)

• You have worked as a Data Scientist for at least 2 years and have good programming skills in languages ??such as Python or R, as well as experience with database technologies and SQL or various big data technologies
• You have good competence in data modeling / evaluation and time series analyzes. Competence in neural networks and Reinforcement Learning is an advantage
• You have in-depth knowledge of parts of the energy industry, and you have mathematics / statistics competence at a very high level
• You work with our customers' data in a way that meets security requirements and GDPR
• You are good at developing use cases, concretizing, and implementing
• You work well in teams with data engineers and the customer's users. If you have experience with DataOps, this is an advantage
• You stay up to date on new technologies and will be our customers' advisor on these
• You have good communication skills and can recognize yourself in being a fuzz-fighter - you communicate in a simple and effective way so that complex concepts are also understood by the non-technical audience
• You have excellent collaboration skills and are highly motivated to work in teams where you get energy from sharing your knowledge with others.
• You are fluent in English

About the hiring process:
