Job Description

• The senior structural engineer shall take responsibility for the structural design of sub-modules that are part of the complete subsea desalination plant and shall in close collaboration with the other team members establish a structural design to sufficient detail that design reports and fabrication drawings can be issued IFC.
• Perform structural engineering and assessments to ensure full compliance with the project specifications, relevant codes and regulations
• Perform detailed structural analyses covering the full design life of the structure (e.g. offshore transport, installation and subsea-operation)
• Deliver consistent, efficient and high-quality engineering
• Produce structural engineering reports and technical notes
• Provide input to drawings for fabrication and other design items as required
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members where relevant
• Participate in frequent status meetings with the Project and prepare input to progress status on a weekly basis to Engineering Lead/ Manager

Qualifications Requirements

• BSC /MSC in Structural Engineerin
• Experience: 5 years+
• Software: ANSYS (preferred), STAAD Pro (required), Mathcad(required), IFS8/IFS10 (preferred)
• Language: Norwegian (prederred), English (required)
